#21 PODCASTS, SMODCASTS
I have subscribed to the podcast ABC Late night Live radio national. I can see several useful ways in which podcasts could be used in a library for example childrens storytime.
My searches were not very successful, another one I will have to re visit.

Looked at Lulu this site was unknown to me until today and I think I will be able to pass this information on to a lot of customers.
#18 Web Based APPS
Zoho writer is great. I feel really bad about sending all those people "elsewhere" to do their resumé. I am posting this from Zoho to my blog how smart is that!

The video was a good introduction to the concept of understanding the uses of Wikis. Ireally liked the Book Lovers Wiki particularly the Princeton reviews. I did a lot of exploring and can visualise many uses at my library.

#15 WEB 2.0,LIBRARY 2.0
What a lot of windows have opened to me and given me a lot of food for thought.
I found the different perspectives interesting and appreciated many of the quotes
I particularly liked Dr. Wendy Schultz article and her description " from the treasured past to the adventure of the future".
I will embrace all the technology changes and rise to the challenge but I still
think there is a long term place for the traditional library.

# 13 Tagging
I found the video useful and although I did not sign up I can appreciate that this would be a valuable reference tool. I enjoyed discovering others views on topics I would like to explore this further but I am already behind as I have just come back from annual leave and have a lot of catching up to do.

#7 Technology
The more I delve the more amazing this learnig curve. I feel like Alice in Wonderland experiencing searches trying to be original ( but someone out there in cyberspace has "been there, done that"). What wonderful school projects I would have produced if I had all this technology when I was at school. A coloured photocopy was considered a good example of enhancing your text now students can have comparison graphs done for them, I had to painstakingly draw them up.

I found some amazing photos when I explored Flickr and when a collegue did a search on our Library I was surprised at the photos a tourist had taken of our foyer and book return chute. This got me thinking how important house keeping is you never know what will appear for the world to view.

This is revision the more I practice the easier it is. I watch the 6and 7 year olds doing amazing blogs and although it makes me feel inadequate with time I will be able to keep up with them.
